We’re starting off the 2012 with Saturday Brunch. Stop in on your way to the Farmer’s Market, after your trip to the Y or whatever brings you downtown and join us for an amazing breakfast. This weekend we will be featuring: -Brioche French Toast with candied pecans and maple syrup -Omelette Specials with our 3 potato hash & toast -An assortment of Breakfast Pastries: Brioche with almond cream, daily scone, breakfast bread and a Pop’t Art -Carnitas (slow braised pork) 3 ways: The Carnitas Breakfast Sandwich with Two Sunnyside-up Eggs Carnitas Hash with poblano chilies and two eggs Sunnyside up or scrambled Carnitas on a ciabatta roll with avocado, mushrooms, potatoes and chilies -Vegetarian or Bacon Frittata -Greek Yogurt Parfaits -Our Granola with Fruit & Yogurt or Milk -Scrambled eggs with our 3 potato hash & toast OR eat dessert first!

In case you haven’t had a chance to stop by and see us here’s a look at our new space at 401 Foster Street.   Come on down and try our pastries, coffee, breakfast and lunch sandwiches and soup and salad.  We are open Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 -5:30 and Saturday, 7:30-3:30.  We can’t wait to see you!!  

If you find yourself in downtown Durham near the the Farmer’s Market and the YMCA, please find a second to peek in on our new shop at 401 Foster Street, Suite A. Take a look around and get your palate fired up with the offerings from our pastry case. Some incredible coffee awaits you too roasted fresh locally from our friends at Counter Culture Coffee. If something savory is what you’re carving, we have breakfast and lunch sandwiches, frittata, soups and salads to make everything right. DaisyCakes Bakery & Cafe is open from 7:30 to 5:30 on Tuesday through Friday and 7:30 to 3:30 on Saturday. Come on over, we can’t wait see you and share what’s been going on.    

We will not be setting up at our usual spot this Saturday.   However, all special orders will be filled and ready for pick up on Saturday at 401 Foster Street between 9:00 and 10:00.

Well it has been a month since we posted an update of our DaisyCakes Bakery and Cafe and here is the LAST photo you will see – you will have to come down to see it finished in person!!  What a transformation!  We hope to be opening our doors in the next couple weeks and we will post the date as soon as construction is complete.   We can’t wait to see you all in our new Bakery!!
