About DaisyCakes–The CakeGirl & CakeGuy
Pastry chef Tanya Catolos and her husband Konrad, who is also a chef, are the co-owners of DaisyCakes in Durham, NC.
Tanya received her hands-on training in Atlanta, at the Ritz-Carlton and later at Bachanalia. She later honed her skills in New York, at Gramercy Tavern and Olives restaurant. She has served as pastry chef at the Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill and most recently at the Washington Duke Inn in Durham.
Konrad studied at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco and has worked for renowned chefs such as Julian Serrano, Emeril Legasse and Todd English. Locally, he has been the executive chef at Nana’s Chophouse and a chef at Piedmont Restaurant.
